They brought in mats to put down inside the front door and took off their wet shoes on it so they didn’t track in dirt onto the floors and carpet. Also laid down mats in front of the fireplace to protect carpet from any dust or soot that may have come out of the fireplace. Overall, excellent experience and will be using them again and referring to any friends that need fireplace/chimney work!- Darrell P.12/01/2021Recently had our original chimney removed from our 107 year old house. Was only being used to vent the water heater. It was in very poor repair and was crumbling. Only issue we had was dust and soot in basement laundry room because opening was left unplugged during demolation. Spent 5 days cleaning up in basement. Jason and Rhonda were upset with their worker for neglecting to plug the hole. They were very accommodating and gave us a generous deduction from our final bill. In spite of this cleaning issue, we do not hesitate in recommending Fox Chimney. The customer service was quick to respond and resolved our problems

He cleaned up when he was finished, and cleaned up so well that you wouldn't have known he was here. He brought protective blankets to put down to make sure that he didn't make a mess. He explained to me everything that he completed and answered the questions I had. I will be reaching out to Fox Chimney Service with any fireplace needs I have in my current home and if I ever move.

Update: They were able to do the entire job in one day. I have yet to try the fireplace, but as I said above, the job comes with a good warranty. I'm not worried. I can recommend these guys. They delivered as promised.
